Note: Insert designed for game with external box dimensions of 29.7 x 29.7 x 8.8 cm. This is the second version of the insert for Istanbul.

Insert compatible with Istanbul®, including the Mocha & Baksheesh® and Letters & Seals® expansions. The insert works equally well with the Big Box variant of the game and the regular sized edition (see images at bottom of page). The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times.

The trays are arranged in up to three layers as shown below. Note that one of the six small trays is not needed and is added upside-down.

The insert includes trays for storing and organising all the game components. Each player colour has it’s own token tray, and all the trays can be used during game play. There is space for all cards to be sleeved with quality sleeves.

The insert includes two filler trays. When the insert is added to the Big Box variant of the game these are placed at one side to hold the other trays in place when storing the game vertically.

When packing the box, simply add the rule books on top of the trays. This fully fills the box and allows for vertical storage of the game.

The insert works equally well with the regular sized edition of Istanbul® (box size 22.8 x 31.7 x 7.5 cm). Here the two filler trays are not needed. There is 2.5cm gap at one end of the box, but provided this end is kept at the top when storing vertically, everything will be kept in place.

When used with this version of the game the higher trays mean that there is lid-lift of 14 mm when the box is fully loaded.
