Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.
The insert trays also have space for plastic ingredient tokens, such as those from Board Game Geek. See below for more info. There are trays for the main four ingredient chips. Each tray has a separate slot for the 1, 2 and 4 chip tokens. There are two trays for the black, purple and orange ingredient chips, again with separate slots for the 1 and 6 chip orange tokens. There is a tray for the fortune teller cards, which can be sleeved. And one tray for the rubies and locoweed chips. Note that the white dice is stored together with the rubies. The tray stores all the starting pieces, plus the flasks. There is a sixth tray for the replacement chips and the flame turn marker. All of the ingredient chip trays work equally well with the widely available after-market plastic chips. many of the trays can be used during the game to organise the components and make access by all players easy. When clearing the game away and packing the box, first place the rulebook on top of the trays. Then place the scoring track, followed by the five player cauldron boards. This fills the box to the top and allows for vertical storage of the game. The insert includes one filler tray, shown at the top of the images, which is used to keep the boards and book & witch tiles in place when the box is fully loaded. This Campaign 3 insert is designed to be compatible with Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition®, and Beyond the Threshold®, Streets of Arkham®, Sanctum of Twilight®, and Horrific Journeys® expansions. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. The trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The insert is arranged in three layers with the room tiles stacked in the top right corner. There is a vertical small card tray for the common item, unique item, spell, and condition decks. There is a separate tray for the damage and horror cards. All the card trays provide for sleeved cards. The other trays shown here are for the person tokens, dice, search/interact, explore/sight, and other tokens from the expansions. Miniatures are stored separately from their bases, and grouped by type. The large and medium monster trays have no base and are meant to be left in the game box. There are then trays for the investigators and the small monsters. The small and medium monster bases are stored in the large tray shown, which also has a slot for the medium and large monster tokens. The other tray here is for the investigator cards and the room doors and barricade tokens. This last tray also has slots for the ID tokens and the pink clue tokens from Beyond the Threshold.The larger room tile and rules are placed on top of the insert trays acting as a lid. The game can be stored vertically, and transported easily as it fully fills the game box. This product consists of a flat-pack of 8 Evacore sheets. The smaller tower parts can be placed with the monster standees. Next place the rule books on top, followed lastly by the game board. This will fill the box to the top, with the lid closing flush, and allowing for vertical storage of the game. Insert is also fully compatible with King of New York®, including again the Power Up!® and Halloween® expansions, as well as the King Kong®, Cthulhu®, Anubis®, and Cybertooth® Monster Packs®. Note that due to the thicker folding board provided for this version of the game, the box lid will not close fully flush and will rise by 3 mm. The game box can still be stored vertically. When used with King of New York® the monster standee base tray also stores the building/unit tiles, both from the main game and the Cthulhu® expansion.
